Frank Saric is a Head Coach with Cal Stars where 7/8th grade plays Jr. EYBL and their HS teams play on the Nike EYBL circuit. He's a certified USA youth basketball coach who played professionally in Europe at a very young age. Learning the basics, footwork, and fundamental skills early on. His biggest strength was staying calm under pressure while playing very aggressively during the game. While other players were very nervous and not sure what would happen he had the focus and drive to execute the game plan calmly and without mistakes. Mental toughness is required for your young player to succeed at this level of play. Experience is knowledge, knowledge is confidence and confidence leads to success. If an athlete is confident in his or her craft then success will follow. It takes years to build and only seconds to destroy an athlete’s confidence. These are the principles Coach Saric follows very closely. Positivity and honesty with your players builds confidence that is needed to be a successful athlete.
